Furthermore, our fleet is tested and upgraded constantly to ensure top safety precautions are taken prior to your flight.

At Plane Simple, we only hire individuals that are passionate about they do and are dedicated to being life-long learners. We demand that each of our pilots are not just working a job but living a dream and fulfilling a passion.

Glyn Bogard

Glyn Bogard is a commercial pilot and FAA Gold Seal flight instructor. He is a CFII, MEI, as well as Advanced ground instructor for primary and instrument training.  Glyn is also a (CSIP) Cirrus Standard Instructor Pilot.  His other duties with aviation have included FBO management, Civil Air Patrol Stan Eval Check Pilot, chief pilot at a flight school, commercial pilot for hire, and aircraft management.

Plane Simple Flight School has two Cessna 172 model aircrafts to choose from: Skyhawk N66015 is equipped with a Garmin 430 with WAAS as well as Garmin transponders. Skyhawk N1397U is equipped with dual Garmin 430s with WAAS as well as Garmin transponders. Call us today to get checked out and/or join our online schedule system.

Alexander Kerbow

Alex found his passion for aviation at the age of 15 and got his Private Pilot's License at 17. In addition to being a commercial pilot and flight instructor, Alex is also a full time college student majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He is a member of the Sheriff's Office Aviation Unit. Alex loves sharing his passion of aviation with others!

Steve Thompson

Steve is an Army veteran and a retired State Trooper. He is a full time professor at McNeese State University. He is a member of the Parapoke skydiving demonstration team and a skydiving instructor. He can fly a plane or jump out if it. He promises not to get them confused. Steve started flying in 2016. He completed the private, instrument, commercial, and CFI in just over a year and a half. He is a member of the sheriff's office aviation unit. Steve has a passion for helping others discover the sky.

 

Jason Madden

Jason has been a pilot since 2007 and flight instructor since 2010. He is a certified airline transport pilot, gold seal flight instructor, and advanced instrument ground instructor. He is also certified in multi-engine and corporate jet aircrafts. Additionally, Jason is a Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilot (CSIP). Jason is also a member of NAFI and is an instructor pilot for the Civil Air Patrol, as well as a Mission Pilot / Instructor for the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office.
